You should be a BE (E&C) having 3 - 7 years of experience in a reputed telecom company preferable in vendor enviornment.
You should have good working knowledge of Switching protocols such as SS7, GSMMAP, BSSMAP, IOS, IS41, CAMEL, WINCAP etc
Should have knowledge of core telecom network involving such network elements as MSC, STP, IN, IVR, VMS, SMS, SCP, HLR etc .
Should have good knowledge of various call flow scenarios involving core network elements.
Should have sound knowledge of Linux/Unix OS, telnet, FTP, server-client concepts desirable.
Should have sound knowledge of IP world involving addressing, routing, switching, ethernet, vlans, protocols (TCP, SCTP,UDP) etc would be an added advantage.
Exposure to database concepts, programming (c, c++,java etc) and scripting will be an added advantage. |
